See a worked example

Example: after dinner, an adult reads Ephesians 4:25. We ask what truthful speech means, pray for help correcting mistakes, and an adult corrects an inaccurate promise. We name tomorrow’s gathering time before leaving the table.

01Protect the gathering

Choose a time that belongs to your actual household.

02Read before applying

Prepare the passage and identify what needs explanation.

03Pray and respond

Connect the reading to worship and a fitting action.

04Return to the plan

Review attention and participation rather than a spiritual performance.
