See a worked example

Example: the family reads a short passage and asks what it says. A question we cannot answer is recorded for a trusted church leader. We choose a useful act of service after checking the actual need, and an adult models an honest apology.

01Choose a repeatable family moment

Fit the reading and conversation to the children’s ability and the actual household.

02Handle questions honestly

Do not turn uncertainty into invented certainty or a test of loyalty.

03Serve an actual need

Ask whether the help is useful. The person helped is not a lesson prop or a publicity opportunity.

04Let the adult example carry weight

Keep an ordinary promise, make a repair, and notice whether the service helped.
